NCIS

Today we went on a tour of the set of NCIS. It was incredible. It felt like I was a CIA Agent in the show. Scott Williams is a producer of the show and he was our tour guide. He showed us around the set. All the different rooms like offices, science labs, and down town areas. We also saw Asa Fox who was a former TC3 student working on special visual editing. We weren't allowed to take pictures at that part. But we learned a lot form him and what he does for living.

On Top Of Hollywood!!!

We went on the top of Hollywood last night and it was so beautiful. We could see the city of Los Angeles. The night breeze was cool, but felt great. A lot of people don't go through this amazing experience. I'm so glad it happened to us. It was a beautiful and magical moment.

Creative Character Engineering

Yesterday we went to Creative Character Engineering. They design character in movies. One famous movie they did was Deadpool (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018). I saw art work of Cable from Deadpool 2 played by Josh Brolin. They also designed costumes from TV Shows like Black Lighting and Titans. Our tour guide was George Troesfer. He was a great tour guide. He was funny and enthusiastic. It was a fun and great experience.

Later that day, we went to AMC and saw 1917. It was a great movie. Has to be one of my favorite war movies ever. 1917 is nominated for some Oscars this year including Best Picture. The 92nd Annual Oscars is on February 9, 2020.

Disneyland

Yesterday for our day off, we went to Disneyland as a huge surprise!!! It was a magical time! I've never been before and it felt great going there for the first time! My favorite part was Star Wars Land! I flew Han Solo's ship! All of this brought me back memories as a kid and why I love Disney so much! My favorite Disney Characters are Donald Duck, Genie from Aladdin, and the Hyenas from The Lion King! I'm so happy this moment happened!

The Gold Rush

On Saturday January 18, 2020, we went to a silent film screening of The Gold Rush. It was funny and fun at the same time. Then we took a tour of the very first film cameras. Everything has to start somewhere. It was a interesting night. Felt like I was living in the Roaring 20's!

Paramount Pictures

On Saturday January 18, 2020, we went to Paramount Pictures. They are known for Transformers, G.I. Joe, Star Trek, and many more. They won multiple Oscars from their previous movies including Titanic which won Best Picture one year at the Oscars. Paramount has to be one of my top favorite film companies ever. If I had a chance to choose to work for a film company, it would probably be Paramount.

Universal Studios and Sony Pictures Animation

Today we went to Universal Studios Hollywood. We took the tour and saw some studio sets where they filmed their movies. We also went on some rides like Jurassic World ride. We also went to  different parks in the area like Hogwarts in The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter and Springfield from The Simpsons. Also went to the Transformers area and got a Transformers t-shirt.

We also went to Sony Pictures Animation. Sony Pictures is known for Smurfs, Open Season, Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs, and Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse. Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse won Best Animated Feature at the 2019 Oscars. I took a picture of the Oscar. I learned how they make the animation. The use drawing boards and create the characters on computer and designing them and moving them around. It was incredible.

Lastly we met Andrew Inglin. Andrew Inglin was a student at TC3 who graduated in 2007. He has a wife and a baby boy. He is a cameraman and a editor for his career. He does short films and commercials. He loves what he's doing and didn't give up on what he wanted to do. That's what I like about him.
